The show is inspired by the book by Giorgio De Maria The twenty days of Turin. A dystopian and prophetic tale, full of ideas still current and deeply disturbing, which finds in the shadow theatre a perfect visual accompaniment. In this strange and dangerous year Controluce has thought to create his first show in the tradition of street theatre, a theatre difficult to stop, that can be presented in homes, in the streets… all it takes is a little dark and someone who listen.
A cart/little theatre, a single operator who tells a story with shadows and music.

CONTROLUCE TEATRO D’OMBRE nasce nel 1994 dall’incontro a Torino del pittore spagnolo Jenaro Meléndrez Chas con i musicisti Cora De Maria e Alberto Jona, grazie alla loro comune passione per il teatro. L’idea iniziale è stata quella di unire musica, pittura astratta e tecniche di teatro d’ombra orientale con l’obiettivo di creare un progetto artistico comune. Come gruppo teatrale si è affermato nell’ambito del Teatro di Figura europeo affiancando messinscena di Teatro d’Ombra per il teatro lirico e la musica contemporanea. Dal 2007 Rosa Mogliasso, scrittrice, collabora con la compagnia. Controluce ha partecipato a festival, rassegne e manifestazioni teatrali e musicali in Italia, Europa, Africa del Nord, Nord e Sud America e Oriente.
