PROGETTO CANTIERE

Project Cantiere, for the past eleven years, has aimed to promote Figure Theatre in Italy by making a structured investment in the creativity and professionalism of emerging companies, with the goal of creating a form of theatre that seeks experimentation and embraces generational renewal. So far, we can consider ourselves satisfied with this work and with the companies we have met, many of which have gone on to succeed “out in the world.”

Since last year, we have decided to invest even more by creating a small festival—a showcase now in its second edition—dedicated to hosting emerging artists and companies selected through an open call. This showcase will also be an opportunity for meeting and exchange, in Turin: a true “open workshop” designed to keep competition at bay while fostering artistic collaboration and dialogue..
