Incanti 2025

In this 32nd season, as every year, Incanti invites us to reflect on the world through the universal language of Figure Theatre.
The dialogue with the present and the social context is explored through a series of performances, animated film screenings, exhibitions, round tables, and talks. Because theatre does not only entertain: it questions, shakes, and changes us.

The theme we aim to explore today and over the next three years is connected to the body, identity, and gender equality—fundamental concepts of contemporary culture.
With courage, we will speak about sexuality, relationships, and rights.

Most of the performances offered are “Adults Only.” They will address sex, consent, fantasies, abuse, relationships, and women. Because theatre can also make us blush, as well as reveal injustices and demand accountability on sexual consent.
But beware! We do not turn our backs on the little ones: for them, two magical and interactive shows. One for early childhood (0–3), the other for girls and boys aged 6 to 12—and this time, surprise, it’s the adults who are “not allowed”!

This year as well, the Cantiere Project continues to support emerging companies, because the future of theatre is built today, together. Incanti’s long-standing collaborations also return—such as those with the National Cinema Museum, the TGR Foundation, Venaria Reale, and more. New partnerships are emerging too, including with the Pagliacce Festival and Women in the City, Antro and Off Topic, Teatro Coccia in Novara, Art Site Festival in the Asti area, and many others.

We hope that Incanti has once again been an opportunity to grow, to discuss, and to be moved.
