Accademia project 2017: PA#LISBOA

The Accademia Project aims to give visibility to the most important drama schools that include Puppet Theatre in their education offer.

The third edition of ACCADEMIA project introduces ESELx (Escola Superior de Educação di Lisbona), which at INCANTI presets two studies Reflexos de Dissoxi and Paisagem da memória, and one workshop.

PAB #BERLINO – Accademy Project

With special attention to the development of Puppet Theatre, this year INCANTI inaugurates a collaborative project with the Goethe Institut Turin and with the initiative TORINO incontra BERLINO (Turin meets Berlin). This Accademy Project has involved the Academy of Dramatic Arts "Ernst Busch" from Berlin. The Accademy Project aims to create a network of relationships, starting with Berlin, with foreign Theatre Schools having Puppet Theater departments in order to draw the attention of the young artists and Companies as well asthe public towards the exchange of knowledge and opportunities in the field of Puppetry.

An entire evening is dedicated to the Puppet Theatre Department of the Berlin Academy of Dramatic Arts "Ernst Busch" which offers, in European premiere, the performance Senlima - Journey with no limits, born from the project Borders/Batas/Grenzen co-produced with Indonesian partners, and a documentary/conference/conversation with Incantis public about the staging of this performance, with the participation of three actors from the Indonesian Papermoon Theatre of Yogyakarta as special guests. Furthermore two workshops on shadows theatre are also part of the Berlin Accademy offering for INCANTI 2015.
